Saturday Casual Gaming: Undefeated Spider

As the title suggests, this is a game about a spider. My apologies, arachnophobes.

Game: Undefeated Spider
Publisher/Creator: The Grandestine
Platform(s): PC (Kongregate)
Style: Idle, RPG, character death real, spiders (sorry)

There aren't a lot of large images of this weird game...

This game is pretty self-explanatory. You're a hero. You have a bunny to protect. You're protecting it from a spider. You have 5 major sets of skills (Defense, Offense, Magic, Item, and Special) with your skill points being represented by rainbow stars. You have 4 item slots that you can change to suit your needs. You have gold you can use to buy more items or more skills or both.

There's not really any story, the graphics are...

Yes. Quite.
There's no music or sound effects (which is fine - I don't want to wake people up when I play this game, after all), and you don't have to mash your mouse buttons. It's a pretty well-programmed idle game, requiring some timed inputs (because your inventory locks during combat), but not demanding 100% of your attention 100% of the time.

All in all, this is a fun little game. It helps, I think, that this "spider" has 6 legs. It looks like a puffball with legs and angry eyes. Also, it shouts memes at you as you attack, like "I have over 9000 skills" or "Hadoukens don't phase me!".

My only advice is this: Do not get attached to your character. They will die, and then you will have to replace them with a new one because that character is 100% dead. Then, you'll face their ghost later on as a miniboss!

If you're looking for a fairly simple game to while away the hours, Undefeated Spider has you covered. Give it a try!

Go Enjoy Something!
